No more insomnia. Fixed my TMJ and shoulder pain.

Not pregnant. Bought this body pillow because I'm a side sleeper, always need a blanket between my legs (bunched just right so its the right height for my hips to be comfortable), and I sleep with a blanket as my pillow because no pillow(s) was ever the right height for my neck. For the past 15 years I woke every morning with varying degrees and varying combinations of right shoulder pain, lower back pain, and neck pain. I woke every morning feeling exhausted. On a whim I decided to buy a body pillow. I chose this one in particular for one reason only: it had less complaints of not enough stuffing. Anyway, 2 nights with this pillow and for the first time in I can't remember how long, I woke up feeling refreshed. At first I thought maybe its the new vitamins I've been taking, but I quickly realized that I didn't have any shoulder pain. I also didn't feel a slight pinge in my back when getting out of bed. When my period came a few weeks later, I noticed I didn't have any sciatica. And best of all, about 2 weeks after this pillow, my TMJ improved. Before this pillow, I often couldn't open my mouth wide enough to even brush my teeth. The process to just open my mouth was horribly painful. Now, I no longer have any pain. My jaw still clicks, but there's no more pain. And the reason for this improvement is because the body pillow is properly supporting my neck muscles which support my jaw muscles, which in turn alleviates the stress on my jaw bones. My husband noted that my snoring still continues but its not so loud anymore. I also noticed that I no longer have such bad breath, probably because I'm sleeping better now. As for the stuffing, there was not enough. However it was such a simple fix that I still recommend this pillow 100%. Simply take out the body pillow's original stuffing, and restuff with the stuffing from 2 older pillows that you dont mind destroying. I originally stuffed 3 pillows worth of stuffing (on top of the original stuffing), and then found my neck pain returned the next day. So instead, make sure the body pillows original stuffing (which is very very soft and conforms so easily to your neck) is at the top (where your head would rest), and whatever extra stuffing you add is stuffed towards the bottom (the legs). This way the legs are more stiff and adds height for those who need a blanket between the legs in order to sleep comfortably. As for the size, this pillow takes up 50% of my queen sized bed. But often times in the morning, I see that one leg of my pillow is hanging off the bed, while the other leg is so far into my husband's side of the bed that he's basically sleeping on the edge. Also if you like to cuddle, this pillow definitely gets in the way of any romance. I highly recommend this pillow to anyone who is a side sleeper and has back pain or neck pain!
