I love these new remote controls for my old 2001 escape! They look and feel just like the original factory ones and oh my god they were so easy to program (I'd never done this before so I didn't know what to expect). So here is the procedure = 1) Get in the car and put the key in the ignition. 2) Turn the key from this position to the "on" position (just before the starter engages) and back; Do this 8 times in a row for 10 seconds, leaving it in the "on" position on the 8th time. All door locks will lock and unlock, indicating that you are in "programming mode". 3) Press the lock button on each remote control, you will hear every time the door locks respond. yes, everything is ready! :-) Let's see how well they hold up but with their quality and button response I assume they're ok, VERY happy with this purchase.
