Review on JBL Live 660NC - Blue Wireless Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones with Extended Battery Life and Integrated Voice Assistant by Petar Kocev ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Low quality, I will not buy this anymore.

In the bottom line, we get headphones with an average sound and a bunch of gadgets that do not work properly. At a price of almost 10k I do not advise. With its pros: 1) The ear pads are soft, and the headphones themselves sit well on the ears 2) Nice case included. Cons: THIS IS A COMPLETE FAILURE Everything doesn't work at all. The headphones are stuffed with all sorts of whistles and there is noise reduction, and a play pause sensor when removed, and a multipoint, and even a touch panel for a voice assistant, and so on. Let's start from the beginning 1) NOISE DAVID - quality + - average, but at the same time it constantly hisses, the quality of music suffers decently 2) TRANSPARENCY MODE - there are as many as 2 modes, I didn’t notice any difference in them, just like noise reduction hiss and spoil the sound. 3) APP - periodically stops seeing connected headphones 4) BLUETOOTH CONNECTION - everything seems to be ok, but periodically the sound disappears for 1-2 seconds. Once an hour, one and a half steadily. This applies to mobile devices. With Windows it is generally impossible to use. Just kill it. 5) WIRED CONNECTION - disgusting thin wire. There is no remote or microphone on the wire. 2.5 mm jack is generally class! For what and why this is done is not clear. Winda also did not make friends with the wire, the sound is very unstable. (COMP IF THAT IS COMPLETELY FIXED. ON A MAC IS THE SAME) 6) MULTIPOIN - either I did not understand how to use it, or it was again implemented through one locally. I re-read the instructions several times, but it did not bring any result. 7) SOUND - average quality. Anomaly detected. When you activate the noise reduction or the transparency mode, the BASS STARTS TO WATCH. I turn off all the bells and whistles: the problem goes away. 8) AUTOPAUSE SENSOR - located only in the right ear, therefore, raising the left ear, the music cannot be paused. Also, if you quickly remove it from your head, the sensor will also not work. I advise you to turn it off.
