The power is much higher than what is stated in the description

I bought this heater to run on a camping battery which has an output of about 400 watts, hoping to use it while camping to get some heat without electricity. I knew it could be close but hoped it would work. The battery has a display that shows the power and can handle surges of up to 600W. Well, as soon as I turn on the heater, it steadily rises above 550W and then the overvoltage protection kicks in. I don't really know if the heater works that well as it just doesn't work, but within a few seconds if you're buying for some other reason it might work just fine.
