To the left is a very old cotton blend "Fish Can Fly" rug that looks. On the right is the new version made from a nylon-like fabric. The new version slips everywhere. While this slippery synthetic fabric can be great for flags, windbreakers, and sleeping bags, most people wouldn't want to touch it. In a parallel test, cats prefer the old version 4 over 0. I agree with my cats: the original version is significantly better. Aside from the cute graphics, I can make them pretty quickly with cheap stuff that is MUCH better. The standard pillowcase (high thread count Egyptian cotton) makes two larger pillowcases and I can add ribbons, tassels, buttons or whatever. The zipper is optional. My homemade catnip is much stronger, so all I have to do is grease the mat a little. No, never again. Too cheesy. It's a shame this product has fallen so far.
