Review on JBL Clip 4: Black Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Waterproof and Dustproof Features and Built-in Battery by Wei-Yin Chang ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In general, it's pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

I don't think that anyone but me will pay much attention to the fact that in the song Still Alive GLaDOS's voice is clogged with an electronic guitar, but the sediment remains. I expected more from JBL. Has pros: Beautiful, small, the sound is quite enough for a room or a clearing in the forest. Bluetooth works stably and easily connects and disconnects without dancing with a tambourine. Different cons: Bad high frequencies. You turn on orchestral music and booming drums with double basses beat the violins. Cymbals, female soprano and all sorts of strings sound much quieter than the noise cinematic boom, which should be barely noticeable in the background. Probably, it is more designed for pop music and electronics. I often include folk or movie soundtracks in which high frequencies play a big role. Yes, and I turn it on quietly so that conversations do not interfere.
