I'm in my mid 40's and have (prematurely) silver hair which I love and don't dye but this makes finding an eyebrow product difficult. My brows are still all brown, dark, ash brown, but clear and sparse since I turned 40. My coloring is low-contrast - I have light skin and blue eyes. (I analyzed the color of "soft summer"). This is the brow product I will be reordering, #5 Grey, this is her light gray shade. I've tried many, many eyebrow products, both pencils and powders. The problem is that almost all of them are either too dark or too warm. Almost all brown, taupe or light brown products turn orange with me. No coincidence. The cooler dark brown, softer black, and charcoal products I've tried are too dark for my soft coloring. It looks like I drew the eyebrows with a black Sharpie marker. The Etude House light gray pencil is really gray - almost too cold for me, but preferable to many too warm tones. Even though it's "light", it darkens my natural brows a bit. The color doesn't really go perfectly with my brows, but it goes very well with my hair color. The texture tip is beveled but "thick" - if you're looking for a precise pencil for drawing individual hairs. , This is not for you! You will not be able to create such eyebrows on Instagram with this pen. I'm more thinking of brow shadows - adding these shadows makes my sparse brows look fuller and healthier. I prefer a more natural look over makeup so this works for me. It's super easy to use - just swipe on the brows and then use the handy spool on the other end to comb through the brows and soften the look. Since it is a propelling pencil, no sharpener is needed. The texture is quite firm and waxy, as expected. I like my eyebrow pencil hard and waxy. It does fade a bit towards the end of a long day, but doesn't run or smudge (even though I live in a cooler climate). but I've been using it for about a month with no problems.
