Artificial and scratchy material is worse than nothing
This is not silk. It is much thicker than my satin bonnets and not smooth on both sides. If you use it (which you shouldn't) I would sleep head out. Also, jt doesn't have a tag to indicate it's silk. Even if it wasn't a cheap fake it wouldn't be good for hair protection as it only has one layer so you'll still end up with a lot of rubbing. Although the quality is not the lowest grade of silk, the higher the quality of silk, the heavier and denser it becomes. It's a very, very thin material.
