i call it "silicone case" it's very cool i don't know the clip i see the idea but for me i will pass the Clip Just wanted something to protect the edges in case of an accidental drop. The one I got isn't as tight as I thought it would be, but it gets the job done, except at the bottom of the speaker where it flexes a bit, not a big deal, just wanted to point that out, but the best part is that it fits nicely in the case I bought so now I would say the speaker has maximum protection when being transported from one place to another. The only thing to remember when buying both items is to make sure the clip loop is on top when you close the other case. This doesn't upset the clip as I said I don't need it so can't say much about it.
