The previous plastic case charger has died out in spectacular fashion so I wanted an all metal charger this time. I was afraid it was some sort of fake plastic, similar to metal, but luckily it's not. It's thick, feels heavy in the hand, and seems to dissipate heat well. It sits relatively flush in the socket, so it almost looks like a factory outlet. The outlet has a blue glow to help you find it at night. The outlet I plug this into is below the knee so I never see the glow at night while driving. Plugging it into an outlet above it can be distracting, and since there's no real way to turn it off inside. This is hardly noticeable when you have both slots occupied, but it can still be distracting. In general I like it. I'll probably take another one for another trip in my truck.
