The bolt connecting the two parts of the hinge is not strong enough to withstand the lifting force of a 300 pound box corner. The head of the bolt popped out when a load was applied and the two pieces separated, so I had to use a pry bar to lift the edge of the box onto the tricycle's wheels instead. Instead of the soft aluminum bolt supplied by the manufacturer, you must use your own hard steel bolt. Also, I could move my boxes. A pivot can be used if I can bore out a soft aluminum bolt and replace it with a hard steel bolt, but I might be better off buying a second block with my own hard steel bolt and throwing that pivot away.
