It sticks to the dash but nothing sticks to it
I ordered a small spacer. It doesn't leave a mark on my dash and holds VERY light items well, but the back is about as thin as a piece of paper and won't hold anything heavier than a few ounces of weight. I still use it to hold checks and things that just need a little friction to keep them from sliding off my dash, but I can't use pads for jewelry or anything of measurable weight.
