I've had this jacket for a long time and it fits me well. I'm not unhappy, but I'm not happy either. After a month or two of ownership, the threads around the Velcro on the wrists begin to tear. It's okay, but since then I've had to race and re-sew too many threads. Not only did I get caught in a drizzle yesterday, but this jacket is anything but waterproof. My shirt was wet before the rain got serious. I felt the first drops penetrate my shirt. When the rain stopped I was so wet it was like I was jacketless. The armor feels comfortable, I feel like it fits me and gives me a sense of security. However, sometimes I have to question safety when I need to sew disjointed pieces back together. It keeps me warm quite well in cold weather, although I change into another light jacket when temperatures drop below 40 degrees Fahrenheit and I know I'll be on the freeway for long periods of time. Overall fit, look and ventilation/insulation are good. Having to keep up with faulty threads and the fact that the jacket is advertised as waterproof when far from it makes me happy with the jacket. I suppose for $$$ it's reasonable, but the safety equipment doesn't have to be reasonable - it has to be better. I believe that a jacket from a brand known for its quality is better but also more expensive. Because how much is your life worth? I think I will invest in a better jacket soon.
