Review on πŸ’¨ Remington D-0422 Pure Ceramic Heat Dryer with Protect and Shine Technology by Hunter Wyn

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Absolute junk in styling tools and gadgets

My 1875W Remington D-3510 hair dryer is finally out of service after 6 great years. So I bought this one instead. It claims to be less dangerous, advertises 2 heat settings and 2 speed settings, and has the same "cold shot" button as the D-3510. It's all lies. There are no two heating modes and two speed modes. It has 2 heating/speed modes: low heat/low speed and high heat/high speed. Unlike my previous model (which had separate speed and heat settings allowing for more options) this dryer only has two settings to choose from, GENERAL. Furthermore, the "high” speed is synonymous with medium for any other hair dryer, and the "high” temperature is lukewarm at best. The cold shot button requires considerable force to activate, making it difficult to use. I'm sure it doesn't do much harm: how could that be? It pushes room temperature air at an average rate when it's on its highest settings. This product is an absolute rip off. Save your money and let your hair air dry. It would be just as effective and you'd have more money in your pocket.

Pros
  • Pure ceramic heater for faster drying with less damage
Cons
  • Big and bulky
