The shirt has some stretch so I'll say it's not 100% cotton. There's no label stating the material of construction, so there's no way to say for sure. It almost looks like a dry-fit sports shirt. The fabric is very thin so I don't think it will hold up over time and could be prone to holes due to snagging. The elastic around the neck and arms seems a bit loose so I would recommend being careful not to stretch them. Despite these issues, my son really likes the three shirts and says the best features are the comfort and the tagless collar. Because the fabric is very light, it's still good for the summer months because it's breathable.
