We bought this for our country house for well water as the water was tested and contained some bacteria. We installed the device and tested our water again. The germ content was below the threshold and was found to be harmless! A few months later we lost the ballast/power supply. Panicked, without even checking the warranty, I ordered a replacement from Revain to get our system up and running asap. I then emailed HQUA support and explained our situation. They quickly explained that there was a bad batch of ballasts and that they would send me a new updated model for free fitting.
