The Kid Nation Kids French Terry Sweatshirt I bought this for my 9 year old daughter but when she grows up she will be passed on to her little brother. I prefer this style as it suits both boys and girls. Where characters' clothing has its place, I often choose patterns and solid colors for my child's clothing. These items make it much easier to choose outfits for everyday wear and are easy to put on and take off. Solid colors and patterns never go out of style and that's the beauty of this brand, you can mix and match your own style so to speak. The quality is exceptionally good. The kids and I couldn't figure out how soft this sweatshirt was. My daughter constantly brags about how soft and cozy it is. Material 60% cotton and 40% polyester. It's not too warm and gives off just enough heat not to overheat the wearer. It can be machine washed and dried so there are no extra worries or hassles which I love about my laundry routine. The size we received is large. Large is suitable for children aged 8-10 years. My daughter wears this size with other brands too. We found it to be a good fit. It's not too tight and not too wide. Enough space underneath for a t-shirt or tank top. The material does not shine through at all! I really like the seam. This gives a normally solid sweatshirt and an added design element that is very eye-catching. The collar, hem and cuffs are lined to keep out the cold. I am very happy with the quality. I highly recommend!
