The shoes look narrow (I have Fred Flintstone feet) but the leather is soft and they stretch easily. I did not notice a lot of extra room in these shores as others have discussed. The soles are a soft rubber, so they feel much more cushiony than normal heels, more like sneakers. I tend to get pain in my feet within minutes of putting on heels and I wore these for a few hours on day one without pain. The t-strap hook and closure system takes a moment to get used to (slide the strap into the hook and the decorative piece will hold the shoe strap. My feet also tend to swell and the strap has a little elastic so it gives. I’d highly recommend them, am thinking of getting them in another color too.Con: I am overweight, and when walking the shoes did feel a little flimsy, I’d urge caution as it does feel as though if I step wrong the shoe stretches between the heel and the ball of the foot. Because of this, I took off one star but honestly for the price I think it’s a great shoe
