Much larger than I expected but still fits a standard dinner tray. Hooking it up was easy as it comes with a direct connect hose, or you can just pour in three jugs of water (yes it comes with its own jug) and it will make a soft musical noise when full. . Then the water flows straight into the sink, and the hose even has its own suction cup. However, if you have cats, I would recommend putting the hose in a bucket instead. Cats love to chew on hoses and pull them out of the sink. It washes everything to a high gloss and works surprisingly quietly, but the instructions specifically state that children should not be washed in it. So if you're buying it for that reason, I'd look elsewhere. Otherwise it's a perfect purchase!
