They are very loud so be careful and turn the volume down the first time you use them. I replaced a pair of full size Maxell headphones that never sounded loud enough and kept slipping off. They stay in place and deliver very good bass. They appear to be very strong with many reinforced connection points so I don't see them breaking easily. My Maxells broke at a stress point on one of the headphones so I'm hoping they hold up better. The only thing that confuses me is that the cable is very strong, so it's very stiff. out and let it sit nice. The cord is also short, so don't expect to use it in your pants pockets or back pockets if you're tall. With a front pocket, I'd be hesitant to run (walking is fine). My height is 6ft 1in. I also use them on my desk for my computer and they are barely long enough that I can't move around my desk with them. I'm buying a $3 coiled extension to use in my desk. so no big deal. Just a note for buyers. You definitely need to make sure they are tight or the bass will disappear. The zippered hard case is a nice touch. I am very satisfied for the price.
