This is a great product for detangling my natural black hair. I love the gentle scalp massage without worrying about scratching or damaging the scalp. The brush handle provides exceptional non-slip grip. The long bristles gently massage the scalp and detangle the hair. Again, I like the rubber grip; was comfortable in my sometimes stiff hands and didn't slip even with oil on my hands. My hair is weirdly salt and pepper. My young granddaughters have soft, curly, African American, and mixed race hair types. Both comb and brush are ideal for washing, detangling and styling any type of hair. The round comb's strong and wide teeth allow me to part my hair without pulling it out.
