First thing to note about this gas grill cover is that it is pretty much weather proof in terms of water but sun light tends make the black turn completely white. It will keep your grill pretty much clean from water (no rust yay), bird poop, and sun damage (but the cover takes sun damage). One thing to note about this is that the grill cover will start to turn into a lighter black overtime if it is direct sunlight all the time. It does not avoid There is not much you can do about that but it does the job in protecting your grill underneath. Another thing is that the gas grill cover is HUGE so make sure you have the correct measurements when you are purchasing this. You could have one that drapes all the way to the ground. It does get water build up under it but nothing too crazy. From what I can tell, there is no way to secure the cover to the bottom and it pretty much hangs. You can secure it to the side a bit. That being said, there is no real issue with the wind blowing this off as the top is pretty heavy so I am not too worried. If it does drape down you can always just put a rock on the side. Water rolls pretty much right off of this grill cover, and will protect pretty much everything underneath from the outside weather. I would say best to just hose it down every month or so to keep grim and dirt from piling on the tarp. It dries pretty fast from what I can tell. Overall the design of this tarp is pretty much universal. It seems to fit and work with pretty much most of the grills I have seen that are close to that size. If you have a smaller grill, you could probably get it this grill cover work but your grill cover will most likely be touching the ground. It is heavy enough to stay over your grill cover and it does what it is suppose to do. One thing to note which is unavoidable is that the tap will change into a lighter black overtime.
