Doesn't stand stable on the base.
It is advertised that it can be used for wall mounting or you can use the base to put a light on it. I wonder if that's why there wasn't a magnet to attach it to the base. If you hit the table it's standing on, even lightly, it will simply topple over. The motion sensor is fine, but you have to be close enough for it to work.
