Review on DiamondSure Diamond Granite Ceramic Porcelain by Brian Kingsford

Get it right and it works like a charm.

My job was to drill 1 1/8" thick granite. I went to the supplier's website which had detailed instructions on how to do the job. One way is to make a template. I have a template made of clear plastic. Drill a 1/2" hole in the center. I took the protective sleeve that came with it and cut off one end with scissors. Then I glued it to the plastic. The goal was to keep water out. I practiced on a granite stand (see picture), following the mantra of keeping the RPM below 400 rpm, pausing every 30 seconds and then touching the hole saw to make sure it didn't get hot.On the countertop I have the hole with me Carpet tape wrapped to hold it in place and prevent water from leaking out. I stopped at a depth of 1/2" The core broke off easily, I removed it and continued working. When I was using this When I started a project, my biggest concern was drilling into the granite. It turned out not to be difficult.

Pros
