I needed a simple base mount to protect my 360 camcorder and document my bike rides. Since I'm using an extra-long 36" selfie stick that can put stress on the attachment point, I wanted an easy, secure attachment with the fewest points of failure. This mount does the job and looks very solid. that once installed it will not pivot or tilt from side to side like more complex mounts. In my opinion it makes what I wanted stronger. You can tilt it back and forth when mounted on a handlebar, but once installed it stays in that position until you loosen the nuts and adjust it forward or backward. You mount the camera high on top of the selfie stick.
