A lot of positive feedback on a product that customers didn't like is a testament to the design. You almost never see that in reviews. As some reviewers report, whether this works well for everyone depends heavily on the car. For example, the Gen 2 Prius' vents are curved at the top. half, causing this holder to lose 1/3 of its support: because the air vent bends too far, allowing the rear upper leg to hit the back there. I had to install a holder in the top half to release the START button in the car. That meant a lot of wobbling and shaking at highway speeds. City was fine, although I didn't like the Galaxy S-10's tall profile, which jutted out about 4 inches above the dash. Installation was relatively easy and the ball joint was secure which other phone holders couldn't. , this one is nice and convenient without resorting to double-sided tape. As many have said, it's a good phone holder (and I agree with some who said the button on the back is boring and could use improvement), the release by pressing the two little levers is really smart, but it just doesn't fit to my car.
