I've been using Neutrogena's exfoliating products for a while now but lately all of their products have gone back to having an abrasive formula which is exactly what exfoliates the skin. One of Neutrogena's other products was so good my face started to glow, my pores almost disappeared and yes, this formula was abrasive. Then they changed the formula to Gentle, thereby destroying the actual effectiveness of the product. Look out for "gentle" in the description of Exfoliate, this means the product is not effective. However, this product cleanses the skin better than other products with the same claims and leaves the skin very clean and oil free, but I would expect the formula to be more granular to better clean pores and skin.
