These PEDS are well constructed. They are designed with a double reinforced toe area.The first day out of the package I tried them on and I can say that they are truly a no-show with most shoes. I thought I would take them for a walk but to my disappointment by the time I walked from my bedroom to the kitchen they were already bunched under my heels and very uncomfortable . They are comfortable on their own merit but not when worn in a shoe. The only practical use I could find for them is to slide on as you walk through security at the airport.
