I have a 2005 Toyota Highlander. A few years ago I soldered the temperature controller wires after seeing a guy on YouTube doing it. That fixed it then. In the spring, my air conditioner got HOT. Very hot. After I re-soldered the wire, the AC was still HOT. Wasn't sure what happened. My AC coolant has been tested. Then I decided to take a risk and buy a kit. Took me about 30 minutes to install. It's been 2 weeks now. Now I can say with confidence that my problem is solved. My air conditioner is getting cold. Colder than we can remember.
