You must buy this scanner

I wrote a review earlier today and advised you not to buy this scanner. I kept having scan errors and scanner freezes. Spent almost an hour with tech support. Nothing we did helped, the scanner stopped working and displayed error codes. I actually had a return package the second time I decided to contact Epson support. The technician advised me to uninstall the flatbed scanner software, the flatbed scanner was a different brand that I only used to scan slides and negatives. I was skeptical but tried it as instructed. I then reinstalled the scanner from the Epson support site. I've spent the last 2+ hours looking through old documents. Maybe 500 pages went through without a single mistake! I couldn't be happier with this item. Epson tech support phone line was excellent. I was connected to devices in less than 3 minutes. I've never had so much success with a call center. I am very satisfied with this product and recommend it to everyone. I've been scanning documents for 50 years now. Having a scanner that works so well with unusually large papers will surely make my life and this project easier!
