I've only had this two days and have ground just over 350 pounds. From the deer. I mashed the whole thing up twice like I always do and this thing ate it up really fast. The meat wasn't cut as well as usual because I wanted to check the meat grinder, it never jammed. I don't know how long it will last but so far it looks good. Now for the things I don't like: The case is plastic, which is fine, but it does have a few spots for bits of flesh to get in, like switches that don't close well enough and a storage compartment. According to the description, it is a 1.3 hp motor. at 350 watts, which doesn't add up, especially when the book box says just over 500 watts. Like most things these days it's made in China, only to say I didn't find any flaws. I have found other grinders that say they are 2000 watts but most outlets are rated for 15 amps which is 1500-1600 watts, it just doesn't add up so don't let that fool you if you are after one Coffee looking grinder. The power of this motor is enough even for semi-frozen meat.
