I was hoping it would work but can't say I like it. Here's why: - The flat part of the clip that sits on the surface you screw the clip to is really too small - not enough flat area to really hold any surface. - The clamp is at an unfavorable angle. It curves outwards at about 45 degrees, so it juts out oddly, compounding the problem described above as its main part deviates from the surface. The spring clip used to hold the extension has a limited range of sizes. It includes a typical 1-row network filter, but nothing else. Tried a slightly wider one to accommodate the power adapter plugs, but it doesn't fit. It doesn't match another with a double row of ports, even on the side. I've even tried putting a surge protector in a desk clamp and a spring clip in a desk, but it was a big flop. It's made of durable plastic but really needs some work. Maybe make it so that the spring clip can rotate? Definitely need a large gripping surface, perhaps one that can snap onto a round post or table leg? At the moment it is better to use ties or velcro. and much cheaper.
