I guess if you keep both seats at the same or nearly same distance from the dash it might work. We have one car and there is 10” height difference between us. So that’s the first problem- unless you constantly attach/remove depending on who is driving the car. However, putting that aside, I put the seats at the same distance, and the carabiners broke the first time I tried to attach to the head rest. Don’t buy. I returned mine same day I got it.
