The Schumacher Power Converter is a useful gadget for those who need 12 volt power. Remember that its power is only 70 watts at 12 volts. If you count, then everything is not so bad. This device is more than enough to charge mobile batteries, power a laptop and many other uses. I have had this device for a long time and have never had a single problem. The green LED glows green when powered by the 110 volt AC adapter to indicate it is operational. Then I use a voltmeter to check that the 12 volt holes are OK. My meter read 12.5 volts, so it's still within the acceptable range. In conclusion, I am very satisfied with the purchase of the Schumacher power converter. The build quality of this product is also solid and UL certified. Love the fact that it gave me another option as an input power source.
