Review on πŸŒ€ Noctua 140mm NF-A14 iPPC-2000 IP67 PWM Heavy Duty Cooling Fan, Black - High RPM, 4-Pin Connector by Lancy Rakesh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Possibly the best 140mm fan

I had 2 Corsair Ml140s on top of the case for exhaust. They worked fairly well, but above 50% speed they seemed to make a fairly audible hum. I dabbled with them for performance until I came across the NF-A14 iPPC-2000s. This is the industrial version of the NF-A14, which has 500rpm and more noise, but comes in black instead of the usual tan. I wasn't sure it was worth spending another $50 for what could be essentially the same fans as my Corsair ML140, but after listening to the ML140 hum for a couple of hours, I decided to check out the Noctuas to try. I'm so glad I did. The NF-A14 iPPC 2000 has a much more tolerable noise level compared to the ML140, is also quieter and actually INCREASES airflow a bit. For many Noctua fans it's not worth spending the extra money, but I'm reluctant to use headphones or headsets. I went with the industrial version because I appreciated the power of the ML140, but they were too annoying. If you really want to pull this off, you can buy the NF-A14 iPPC-3000 version and they will amaze you.
