I was a bit skeptical about how well this bag would handle inclement weather. We were on a 1,400 mile round trip from Michigan to Canada and we needed not just a durable bag but something to hold all of our belongings. Well this bag is impressive. We've weathered all types of weather, including strong winds, extreme heat and heavy rains, and it's held up well. We used a raincoat and just left it on throughout the trip, not knowing when we were going to get wet. He carried himself well. The bag can be securely and easily attached to the luggage rack. We can fit a lot of clothes, accessories, snacks, etc. It has enough outside pockets to store small things you might need on the trip, such as headphones, gloves, snacks, chargers, etc. Highly recommend this travel bag, it's worth the price!
