My 12-year-old dachshund is afraid to go out on our terrace in the summer because he's afraid of bees, flies, everything that's flying around. When we sit outside she wants to be with us but she won't come out. We set up this playpen and put her favorite toys and blankets inside. We put her there and she immediately calmed down and fell asleep. Then before we went to bed last night we couldn't find her. She crawled in and slept soundly in it (she always has "her own couch" in the den she says she slept on). The BEST things we've ever bought for Casey.
