Although the design and idea is clever and you avoid splashing eau de toilette on your face like a traditional toilet brush, you can't use it with normal toilet cleaner. This is stated in the instructions. So if you really want to disinfect the toilet, you need to do it with another brush. What's the point of spending $40 on something that can only be cleaned between sanitizing cleanings? And for $40, do you really want to take a chance and use it with toilet cleaners at the risk of ruining/breaking part of the mop? I returned this item after reading the instructions that it should not be used with harsh detergents. If you use a harsh cleaner, it will be in the toilet. So why would you develop a toilet cleaner that you can't use toilet cleaners with?! Purchase at your own risk.
