This model was chosen for a reason. I read about humidifiers (types, characteristics, etc.), looked at reviews. The main benefits (for me) are: - the classic way of moisturizing. With it, the humidity will not exceed the norm; plaque does not form on furniture (as when using ultrasonic humidifiers); the room will not turn into a bath (as when using steam humidifiers). - refueling through the grate on top. Just pour water on the grate, it goes into the tank. There is no need to disassemble the device, remove the tank and drag it somewhere. - the presence of sensors (residual water, temperature, humidity), the ability to connect to a smart home. We connected the home to (we see the readings of the sensors, we control them online, you can set up scenarios on / off). - inside the humidifier is a drum that can be completely pulled out, disassembled and washed. This means no replacement cartridges, filters, etc. no need to buy! - quiet. You don't notice him. You can even sleep next to each other (it happens that we turn it on for the whole night on the minimum mode, but it stands by the bed itself). - design :) fits perfectly into our modern interior. Cons and pitfalls: - slowly (in my opinion) saturates the air with moisture. For example, when first turned on, it worked for a long time with our dry air. Maintains moisture - good. - filling with water through the grate from above can be inconvenient for families with small children or pets (small objects, debris, wool can fall into the humidifier). - humidifier consists of two "cubes" - upper and lower. The upper part is placed on the lower one, the contacts are closed, everything works, it looks beautiful, but the parts do not snap into place and are not fastened in any way, i. E. at any time, you can raise / knock down the upper part from the bottom, while the lower one will remain on the floor. I wish there were latches. - many people write about breakdowns of the water level sensor (without which the humidifier will not turn on). - a simple filling for such a price, could cost much less.
