Review on πŸ’Ž Diamond Core Drilling for Granite and Porcelain Bathroom by Charles Salgado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Quality Low Price

I bought these drills after having had good experiences with other Drillax drills and was not disappointed at all! I have used these bits to drill many holes for various porcelain stoneware projects (toilet flange, shower door, shower screen glass etc) and have been very happy with their work. With proper care and use, I have no doubt these bits will last a long time. A few tips for beginners: 1. When drilling, dip the diamond tip of the drill bit in water and drizzle some water on the surface to be drilled. If dry chips form while drilling (usually within 3-4 seconds of high-speed drilling in glazed porcelain), stop drilling and re-wet the drill bit. Then drop some water on the drilled surface again. . Repeat this process until the hole is complete. Keeping the diamond tip and material surface wet while drilling will greatly extend the life of the drill bit! Have a small cylindrical object handy so you can remove the drilled "cores" from inside the drill. When drilling porcelain stoneware, you must clean the drill after each drilling, otherwise there is a risk that pieces of tile will get caught in the drill and cause problems when drilling further holes. I used a couple of cheap allen wrenches for this purpose and was able to clean the bits fairly easily after each use.
