Reduces straightening time for long, thick hair.

I like that the product only heats up between the teeth. I didn't have to use a glove. I have type 4b hair and this reduced the time for me by half an hour to 45 minutes after using the blow dryer on low speed. It didn't completely smooth out the scalp and ends, but the middle hair did a great job. I just used a scalp and tip straightener for the whole job, but it cut down the time significantly just using the straightener.
