Great addition to old tape systems
I have this to use with the Canon XHA1. These are some of the last professional HD cameras to use tape, so digital recorder has proven to be effective. It has greatly improved the efficiency of my workflow, the file formats work like a charm in Premiere, and it's lightweight and portable. DV or HDV, this little gadget is a hit. Also, you'll get a slightly better picture by skipping the tape step.
