Review of SetSail Dryer Air Vent Cleaner 1 Pack Strong Thick Bristle Vent Cleaning Brush. Ordered to use with my new Samsung front loading dryer. The lint screen caught tons of lint, but I noticed more falling through the cracks and toward the vent. I think this may have been because the previous renter I shared my dryer with didn't clean the lint trap properly as I ended up removing a surprising amount of lint. Anyway, the excess lint was making me nervous and I can't get my hand deep enough into the lint area and even my shop vacuum is too wide to reach deep enough. So I tried using a bottle straw brush and as you might expect it was a difficult and time consuming task. I needed to find the best tool for the job, so I decided to try this brush. Compared to a straw brush, this brush works a million times better. It's surprisingly long and wide, but not too wide. I've noticed that the brush does a good job of picking up small lint, but the brush doesn't hold up large pieces very well. However, the brush tends to pull large pieces closer to the edge, making it easier for me to grab or vacuum them. A pretty important note is that you need to be very careful with this brush, especially if you have sensitive skin. I made the mistake of unrolling the brush with my bare hands and stabbed myself with all the extremely sharp and strong bristles. I won't make the mistake of picking up this brush again and now I'm scratching/flexing it with thick gloves. Overall it works decently but could use some tweaking to capture larger bits of lint.
