Poor design prevents some RVs from being plugged in and used, such as: B. the Tiffin Wayfarer.

It looked like a really great product with good reviews but if you have a tiffin with a cord with a handle you won't be able to plug it in and use it. The flap design on the protector is about 1/4 inch smaller and close to the plug which prevented me from getting a good connection from the RV plug to the surge protector. The cord went only halfway past the top of the RV plug and was stopped by a watertight valve.Not wanting to use protection that had half the copper exposed to the elements figured I would have to return the item.
