I was looking for a mat of this thickness for a while as the traditional yoga mats hurt me when I workout on hardwood floors. This has a nice cushion to it, I have used it for a week now and it is very comfortable - and I love all the color options. I bought the red one but had a hard time choosing. Other brand mats of similar thickness were almost double the price.I knocked off a star as I wish there were some patterns in the smooth side of the mat. It is not slippery but I like to feel a bit of texture under my feet while working out and this feels too smooth.
