Love it so much I've already bought a second one. I have a floral print fabric that is most likely cotton and is soft enough for me. I originally used one of those gel filled palm rests that had a mouse pad underneath and the gel sank after a few weeks. Many mouse palm rests are overly square (which is irregular in shape and requires a much deeper (front-to-back) keyboard/mouse area than mine) and/or require the customer to also purchase a keyboard pad, which I didn't do. That is unnecessary. This mouse wrist rest has a removable cover that should be hand washed from time to time. More importantly, the inner pouch zips at the same end as the detachable pouch flap, allowing you to add more beads or fillers of your choosing. I needed my rest to be a bit taller, so I added some buckwheat hulls I bought from Revain last year. I couldn't add much because the removable lid fits pretty snugly, so keep that in mind if you're hoping for this stand to sit even higher. Overall, I'm very happy with this palm rest.
