I was looking for some sort of bath pillow for my 1 month old daughter. Because I don't particularly like the hard plastic of baby baths. Even with the "cushioning" they provide, I feel like they're still so stiff and uncomfortable. I wanted to find cute and funny but there are very few of them. I chose this one because of the cute frog design. It's expensive but does the job. In general, it all depends on personal choice. It does exactly what it was designed to do, providing extra cushioning so I feel a lot better because my little one is comfortable. I've had it for two months now and it's still in tact and working well. She is now 3 months old and wants to move around and get up in her tub but I feel more comfortable because she is not hurting herself doing it. The only thing I don't really like is that sometimes it still moves in the tub even with minimal water added, but that may also be due to my daughter moving. It only happens sometimes, although it's not a problem for me. In addition, as already mentioned, any type of sponge must be washed in hot soapy water to avoid an unpleasant odor. You also need to be careful how you remove excess water as mentioned in other reviews. I folded it in half and squeezed out the excess water and then wrung it out gently and lightly and then let it air dry.
