Guess what came today?I live in the high desert of Oregon and it gets REALLY cold in the winter. We get snow and freezing fog. Staying warm is like a hobby here. That said, this is the BEST thing I've bought all year. Hands down.It came in a vacuum-sealed package. I cut it open and it expanded into this delightful softness that I couldn't wait to try on. The blanket hoodie is WEIGHTY. Seriously, this thing is no joke.The hood is large and voluminous. The kangaroo pocket on the front is huge. The sleeves are super long with knitted cuffs so they stay where they are supposed to be — not to mention sealing out the cold.I'm 5'3" and 140 lbs and the hoodie almost touches my ankles. I'm so happy with the length. It's got discreet snaps on the side to make it narrower, so it's easier to move around in. My hoodie is black and the snaps are also black. You have to look for them to find them.For comparison, I also have a ThrowBee, which is a throw blanket that unsnaps to make a head opening so you can wear it sorta like a big poncho. This blanket hoodie is *much* better that. It's a heavier weight than the ThrowBee and has a lush hood (which the TB does not).I was hoping this was a nice blanket hoodie, but it's even better than I hoped. And they have it in BLACK! I hate pastels and so many other brands I looked at only had light colors. I'm pleased in every way. I am SO EXCITED for winter to come this year. My son and daughter-in-law are each going to buy one after seeing and feeling mine. They live up here in the cold too. We're going to wear these things November through April!
