This is nothing like my other Nelson Rigg cover I've had for years. The biggest problem is the material/quality. It is an ultra-thin, vinyl-like material that is easily dented/dented under its own weight while cycling. They quickly become punctures, especially when force is applied to the cover during installation or storage. If your bike has sharp parts, you need something to put them on. Another issue is general installation. The wheelbase is ok, I measured before ordering and it's quite long at the bottom. The problem is that it lacks height or girth at the top. You have to force it over the steering wheel and mirrors. On this bike I have a small bar between it and my mirrors that forces the bottom of the trunk to be about axle level, halfway to the wheels. This cover will likely work well for a sport bike with foreign parts, a bicycle. Not so much for a cruiser. If you have even tiny mini monkeys and/or a sissy bar or anything remotely edgy on a bike, forget it, look elsewhere. My bikes are in the garage, I just dust them off because it's horrible where I live, a few days after washing them even in the garage they're full of dust. The fact is that the coating has never been exposed to wind or weather. I wore this cover for a year and a half and hated every minute of it's existence. I'm only writing this review now because I've returned to the store for a different cover. Conversely, I've had another Nelson Rigg cover (more of a textile type, blue) for 13 years which has been great.
