Review on πŸ”¨ Woodpeckers 3/4 Inch Round Wooden Ball (Pack of 50) - Unfinished Birch Hardwood Balls for Crafting and Building by Carol Miller

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mixed Quality

I've noticed that a lot of these (almost half) aren't perfectly round. One side is often a little "flat", and while it's no big deal for crafting, I've partially used them to make wooden ball bearings, which is very important in this application. it is so small that it is difficult to see with the naked eye. Few were so deformed that I consider them unsuitable for most purposes. If I had seen them on a shelf in a store, I would not have guessed that there were any flaws. Birch is a good wood to work with. It is medium density and does not feel porous like oak and some other hardwoods. It picks up stains evenly and colors beautifully and evenly. If you don't need perfectly round pieces or can throw away a bit of junk, this product is a good buy.

Pros
  • Raw Wood
Cons
  • Expensive
